Tube Toolbox Review (week 2)

Alright, week 2 of using tube toolbox is here and i have to admit, things are definitely picking up. It's almost as if the subscribers and friends are increasing at an exponential rate. Perhaps they're recommending it to their other friends or something, but they're definitely doing something as the rates are not following the week 1's review.

Note : I've placed a filter on the friends i added to ensure that they have at least logged in within the past 7 days, and are in the same niche as the videos i'm producing. For example, if i'm posting singing videos, i'll ensure the people i look for are people who have commented on other singer's videos and such.

Progress

Friends :8402 (previously 3767)
Subscribers : 1297 (previously 398)
Video views on latest (new) video : 3,829 (previously 1,273)
Ratings : 47 Thumbs Up , 3 Thumbs Down (Previously 16 , 0)
Pages of comments on latest video : 9 (Previously 3)
Pages of comments on channel : 13 (previously 5)

The Analysis

What i can conclude from this is that the increase in friends being more than the previous week could be because some people only logged in a week later and thus coincided with this week's collection of results. I doubt many people recommend friends to each other anyway.

The subscribers increased quite a lot actually, almost 800. I believe that could be placed down to the increase in friends and the video going slightly viral amongst friends through "facebook share" or "youtube favorite" functions and that sort.

Video views was very impressive, almost hitting 4,000. This can be down to the idea that the video got rather viral too, being shared with more friends and stuff.

Ratings and comments on videos are expected to increase, with the number of views of the videos anyway. It seems that with every 1,300 view increased, comments and ratings on videos increase by a factor of 3. Nice (:

The Conclusion

Alright, so what i can conclude from this week's takings are that simply by adding people as friends on youtube using tube toolbox, i have not only increased the views and subscribers of my videos and channels, but also seen how with such a huge number of friends and subscribers, the video can go viral very easily, leading to a huge increase in video views, subscribers and everything else along with it, although comments and ratings do stick to a fixed factor according to the views of the video.

Stay tune for my review next week on week 3 of using tube toolbox!

Tube Toolbox Review (week 1)

Alright, i'll be using this blog to keep track of the progress i've been getting using tube toolbox.
I've been using tube toolbox for a week already simply adding friends and here are the stats i've gathered.

Note : I've placed a filter on the friends i added to ensure that they have at least logged in within the past 7 days, and are in the same niche as the videos i'm producing. For example, if i'm posting singing videos, i'll ensure the people i look for are people who have commented on other singer's videos and such.

Progress

Friends : 3767
Subscribers : 398
Video views on latest video : 1,273
Ratings : 16 Thumbs Up , 0 Thumbs Down
Pages of comments on latest video : 3
Pages of comments on channel : 5

The Analysis

Very interesting, it seems that there is almost a 10% conversion rate on the number of friends to subscribers. Also, there's almost a 30% click through rate to my channel from a friend request apparently. That means 1 out of 3 people would check out my channel and view my video upon seeing a friend request.

The comments i've received are fairly good, rather constructive and not nonsensical "good video keep it up" ones. Most of my channel comments are thanking me for the friend invite, a random comment on my channel and a request to subscribe back. Mhmm interesting.

The Conclusion

So it seems that the art of simply requesting friends have gotten me almost 400 subscribers in one week and 3700+ friends.

I'll update y'll when the next week comes, to see if the numbers have grown by a lot more or not.
